Dead or Alive

I guess that is a question that is often asked in Saint Lucia now for much more serious reasons than I intend to ask it tonight.  While I do not negate the seriousness of the crime wave that is sweeping through our nation at this time, I cannot allow it to restrict me so much that I cannot use the words I find most appropriate.   To do so is to concede defeat to the few that seek to imprison us with their particular brand of violence.  A philosophical discussion about how we, the society, have imprisoned them by failing to educate and empower them has its place, just not on this forum.  Rather, I will ask the question just as I had first intended.

Lucian Carnival - Dead or Alive?  Definitely alive.  We have been cloned many times over but the original is still around.

This Writer - Dead or Alive?  By now you know I'm alive. Fresh off 20/20 and ready for Carnival.  A little late and a lot Lucian.

Carnival Bands Association - Dead or Alive?  Alive and kicking with a new executive led by President Adrian Augier.

CDF - Dead or Alive?  Alive on life support I hear.  By June 5th, everyone will know the true condition.  Samaan's Park is the place to be if you want to find out first hand.

Kaiso Handbook - Dead or Alive?  I have no idea....I guess they waiting to see if Kaiso shows up.  Imagine a tent open in Saint Lucia and I had no idea.  Don't listen to radio.....Don't watch TV.....but still.
